Having Audio Issues on 2 consoles connected to the same account.

I have an Xbox One X and an Xbox One. Both consoles are connected to the same account. My son plays on the Xbox One and I play on the Xbox one x. Just yesterday my headset was working perfectly on my XB1X while plugged into the audio jack. My sons headset
has been having issues not recognizing his headset and now today my headset won't pick up any audio also while plugged into the controller. I have been through all the settings and tried all options. I have swapped controllers around on the consoles (some
being brand new controllers) and still to no avail. I have plugged the headsets in to other sources such as phones, pc, etc and the headsets work fine. When going through the device settings all controllers are up to date on updates but when looking at the
settings the volume option on the controllers are grey'd out (can't change anything on it). Audio was working perfectly the day before.

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to hopefully get your audio to come up the way it was before.

I can definitely see how this happening from one day to the next could be confusing and concerning.

I suggest if you haven't yet, to check your network connection and make sure you're not getting any error as a good connection is integral to using most headsets in multiplayer.

If the network tests alright, you should try checking out and trying
Xbox One Chat Headset troubleshooting.

Another thing to keep in mind is that these headsets you are trying are third party and that being so, you might want to try a Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter as it was specifically designed to help headsets from other manufacturers connect to the console.

When you get a chance, try out your network and those steps and don't forget to get back to us. Hope this helps!

I've tried all of that. Tried syncing his (new) controller to my xbox and also tried my headset on both controllers synced to both xboxs' and his headset on both controllers. No audio whatsoever. But plugging those same headsets into any other source (phone,PC,
etc) and they work fine.

Also to add, the headsets i'm using are a Turtle Beach Recon Chat White headset and a Turtle Beach Stealth 450. Both of which work on other sources.

First of all. Are your console, dear sir in insider program? I have heard that is some issue with sound with the latest build. Since you past every check, maybe is best to contact support.
