    Having an issue with installing a game


    I'm not sure why but Evolve, when I go to the marketplace says that I have got the game, however when I click on the game to see the details and install the game. It says I have not got the game. Also it does not appear in my Ready to install area in games
    and apps.

    Having an issue installing a game

    I had installed Borderlands a few months ago but then deleted it for space reasons. I am now trying to re-install it and when i press install, it has the moving circles thing but never increases the progress bar. I have let it sit for 15 minutes and nothing
    happens. The B button does not work but the guide button does.

    I have tried performing maintenance on the hard drive and i know there is enough free space. What is the issue? Why did it work the first time i installed it but not now?

    Try disconnecting from xbox live by signing out your profile, then install the game.

    Try cleaning the borderlands disc. It might have some stuff on it causing the system not to be able to read the disc.

    Thanks, Mister Maka. That worked. It was the first BC game I attempted to install, so the x1 may have had an issue for that reason, and needed a refresh.

    Heya diablo vs24.

    Sorry to hear about the installation trouble you're having! Since this began have you tried cancelling the install and completely power cycling your Xbox One? To power cycle, hold down the power button for 10 seconds (or until your Xbox One powers off),
    wait 30 seconds, and then power it back on.

    If you're still having trouble installing the game, can you share your detailed network statistics? Backward Compatibility uses the disc for verification, but it will download the content from Xbox Live. Thanks!
