    Having a sound issue with headset. Anyone able to help please


    Hello all,

    I'm new to the Xbox One scene and seem to be having an issue with the official xbox headset and the sound. I'll try to explain what's happening.

    When I'm away from the console and the screen dims (I think its around 10 mins or so) and come back to use the console, there's no sound through the headset at all. The sound is fine through the TV. No issue there.

    I'm using the official headset with the mic built into it and a wireless controller with the official charger pack also plugged in. I'm also using the xbox one adapter, which I plug the headset into.

    I've tried the volume buttons on the on the xbox one adapter and the two other buttons. The sound will not come back on. Is there a setting I'm missing here?

    Plantronics rig flex lx headset

    I am having issues with this headset. I have the volume turned all the way up for headset, but the sound is very low. Does anyone know how to resolve this or having the same issues? Please help

    Standard Headset thinks its an adapter.

    Hey am having problems with my Standard Xbox One headset.

    The issue is that my Xbox think am using an adapter and displays this when I go into Setting under controller....

    The game sound is playing through the headset so I cant hear anyone when in chat

    Anyone have any ideas on this, is it a fault with the headset or a software issue????

    Hey there BritishDarren.

    When this occurs, have you tried unplugging your headset and plugging it back in to see if that helps? If not, try signing out and then back in, that will often clear up this issue.

    Xbox one party chat problem.

    I have tried both different headsets and remote controllers but II still have the problem that despite wearing my headset, no one can hear me in a party, despite I being able to hear anyone else. Please help me. How do I solve this
    problem. I'm not sure if it's because due to a change in my xbox one's sound settings or what, but please help me solve the problem asap pls.

    After that I did try update my controller, my headset, in any chat (group or skype) the people hear me but I don't hear them...

    When I press the + button from my headset, I do hear the sound of "maximum volume", but even though the chats not working....

    Popping/Crackling Sound From Friend's Xbox One Headset

    Sounds like he may have a loose wire in the headset. Please have him try a different headset. If there is no popping sound coming from his end with a different one then that would be the issue.

    How do headsets work on the xb1?

    You still need to purchase a headset that has surround sound available on it. The Xbox is not able to make a stereo headset give surround sound. Hope this helps!
