having a save problem :(

That is correct, a deleted save is gone.

When i delete the local file, I had two options. I chose the option to delete only on this console. I restarted the Xbox and it resynced. But the old save didnt come up unfortunately . Maybe it is a Technical problem. A month ago i realised that each time i clicked on «continue game», i went back to an older save, not the last save i made in game. So each time i opened the game, i had to go to «load game» and choose a newer manual save. The save that for the last month came up after choosing «continue game» was also the last save that came up after i factory reseted the Xbox. The manual saves i made after the period did not get saved. I had the same problem on witcher 3 also. Maybe that is why half the saves went lost? I dont know

Tried to follow the steps you mentioned. And two options occurred, one «Reserved space» option to delete and one for my Xbox user. I dont know which one i should delete and if this might in worst case delete all of my progress. I only lost 40 out of 90 hr of progress
