    having a problem with a friend in xbox live party chat


    Hi guys, im having an issue here where ive been chatting with a friend in the past and they can hear me perfectly but as of today they cant hear me even though im talking and they're talking too, im only having this problem with the one friend since ive
    tried talking to others in a party and they hear me just fine. Anyone know why they cant hear me when i talk to them? we dont have each other muted and our systems are ok. Someone please help.

    Party Chat Problems

    Having the same problem between 3 friends. All of us could start a party and turn on chat but when we joined a party and tried to turn on chat we would get an error type message. Sounds like this has to be a xbox live issue without the end user having to
    reset or change router functions.

    And what's up with not being able to record a message to send to a friend? I hate hate hate having to text a message out on the x one.

    Kinda an update on this problem were having, its just happened to me i've looked about the forums and i haven't found much if anyone knows why this has happened please reply and thank u for atleast reading about this problem.

    Hey there RagingChaos93,

    Sounds like there may be a potential network issue at play here. If you use
    this guide    , are you both seeing Open NAT settings on the console? Is not, you'll want to work towards getting the NAT type to be Open.

    It's no fun when you can't Party with your friends. We do have some steps on the Xbox Support site to

    Troubleshoot problems with Xbox LIVE chat    . NAT issues are the most-common cause, but have your friend and yourself try each of the Solutions from that link.

    You too huh? EVERY SINGLE PERSON on my friends list tell me they also have party chat problems. I also have these party chat problems. Most people I talk to in online games tell me they also have these party chat problems.

    The console is over a year old now and WE STILL HAVE THESE PARTY CHAT PROBLEMS!
