Having a physical copy and buying a online copy

Hi there,

I was just wondering what would happen if I were to do this.

I currently own the physical copy of the standard edition of Assassins creed.

But I want the extra bonuses that you get from the collectors edition.

If I were to buy the digital copy of the Assassins creed collectors edition with them bonuses I want

from the xbox online store would that clash with the standard game I have on my xbox?

or corrupt any of my saves or progress

Or will it just apply them bonuses to my standard copy of the game?

Could you please help me with this as it’s confused me

Before downloading the game, under settings you shloudl have made your internal drive the "default" drive, since that was where the game was. It would have then just dl the license.

You should be able to delete the internal drives game. Just be careful to copy or move any saved games, etc.

The best solutions would to be either buy him a physical copy of the game, order online and get it sent to his address, or buy him a Microsoft cash card which he can redeem on his account and use to buy a digital copy.
