Having 2 major issues with console.

Sometimes my xbox will get stuck on the initial xbox 360 splash screen ill have to turn it off and try it again and sometimes it will go through. it may have something to do with the second problem which is the disc tray will act strangely, it worked without
issue 2 weeks ago when I finished playing watch dogs, I had zero problems with it, then dark souls came out with games with gold and I've been playing that from the hard drive and just today I tried to play a game through the disc drive and it doesn't even
sound like it tries to boot the disc. whats even stranger is I can close the disc tray with nothing in it and it will say "reading" for a minute+ identical to what happens if i put an actual disc in.

before its mentioned I've already gone through the disk tray troubleshooting steps

Try to delete your profile (profile only),
clear system cache (3 times), download your profile again.

See if the above works.

Sounds like your console needs to be serviced. Go to myservice.Xbox.com register your console and submit an order for repair.
