You'll get the code when the transaction completes. If you ordered it physical (like me) you get Quantum Break, Inside sleeve code for alan wake + DLC and emailed American nightmare on the day the retailer charges your card.

If it's digital, I have less helpful info. Mostly your can't cancel a preorder digital games from the Marketplace, so I think you get emailed the code, or in your dashboard message.

I order quantum break digital on the 25th from Xbox dashboard. I Thought I would get Alan wake the same day or a code for the game later. I called xbox support and they told me a lot people are having the same problem, to post a comment on the forum

Codes for Alan Wake American Nightmare will be sent 7-10 days after you purchased the game. So it hasn't been enough time for you to receive that code yet. Codes for Alan Wake and the other DLC will be sent 7-10 days after Quantum Break is released.

I haven't received the Alan Wake code either. I checked the shop again and Alan Wake is part of the sale while American Nightmare was the preorder.

I bought quantum break and was suppose to get the pc and the xbox one verison, plus alan wake. I only received the alan wake game, haven't gotten the pc code yet.

Alan Wake is a great game, but you might want to play Alan Wake's American Nightmare if you haven't already Black Wolf. It kinda wraps up the Wake saga and ties up the loose threads... I'm thinking no sequel. {=D
