Have you seen reporting actually work?

Given the amount of players on Xbox Live and the, in comparison, few Enforcement Team members it isn't a surprise that reports can take a while to get dealt with.

Especially when you consider that they actually have to investigate the reports. They don't ban automatically, after all not every report made is genuine.

Was starting to wonder if it was actually going to be out in September but yea reports I have seen say its been delayed until Q1 2016.

 

Spread the word, this is unacceptable.

Eek um as much as I support reporting idiots your page actually violates the xbox live ToU and CoC by naming and shaming which can be seen as slander and harassment which can get you and your console perma banned from xbox live.

Well my friend and I who report offenders all the time got a message from XBL about last year or so for reporting people. They thanked us for reporting people cheating the system. So it works, it just takes quite a while for some gamers to be dealt with.

I actually framed the message for my friend. haha!

 

To be honest, no I have not seen it other then in the forum listed above. I reported someone I know for a fact that has modded gamerscore and nothing was ever done.

I was genuinely asking about an online friend of mine - he was a 12-year old kid that was 1 of the best CoD players I have ever met (polite too). Once he was suspended, I removed him as a friend due to his actions and haven't heard from him since.

 

I never bother to check. Report, Block, Game on.

 

It does work I got a message from Xbox thanking me a couple of times.

 

I haven't been so pedantic to keep checking is a report has actually had the desired affect, but I did once upon a time have the quirky Xbox friend (use to be a forumner too) got temp bans and name changes like every other week! So the system works, somewhat.

 

no it does not work. here is how it goes. you pay you play you suffer the consequences of having your high scores hacked by some low life. end of story

 

Yes it does work.I've personally received messages thanking me for a complaint i've filed & just reading the ban/suspension forum tells me that filing a complaint works.

I have no idea. I've never reported anyone. From what it seems like judging by what I've heard on the forums, no. I just hurl insults at the person and move on.
