Have you pre-ordered the Xbox One S? If so, what size and where?

I have a lot of Best Buy giftcards sitting around so I'm going to get the 2tb version there, but am waiting for the "store pickup" option to become available. I may just grow impatient and pre-order it to ship, though. Don't want it to sell out and I want it
day one.

Wonder how many people have pre-ordered the PS4 through GameStop vs PlayStation network. Also wonder how many have pre-ordered the Xbox One through the MS Store vs. GameStop. I say that because I bet a ton have pre-ordered through Microsoft, instead of GS
and compare that to when the Xbox 360 was launching (when you couldn't order through MS).



Just a thought.

 

Shoes And The Xbox One X...

Not ordered any shoes but have ordered a nice new pair of steel toe-cap rigger boots for work.

And like you I have actually pre-ordered the Xbox One X, as, like you say, it is less than one weeks pay, but only just, ,lol,

But I put my pre-order in two months ago on a Project Scorpio Edition.

The first time that I have ever pre-ordered a new console.

I have one ordered via Amazon (the 2TB version) - if the 500gb and 1TB versions are really coming out in December (if we find out any more info bet. now and then) then I'll stick with the order, but if they're coming out shortly after (e.g. sept) then I'll
probably cancel. Can always attach an external drive.

Hopefully my day one lasts this entire generation but if it doesn't I'll buy whatever the best version is at the time the day after it breaks

 

I ordered it the week it was announced. Going to trade my current one I have towards it. Expensive year for me for gaming hardware. Gaming laptop which arrived today and my Xbox One S in September.

 

I just pre-ordered the Xbox One S at Best Buy, having it shipped, and am keeping my Elite console too. I'll keep the Xbox One S in the living room to go with the 4K TV and the elite in my bedroom.

It's what I do... and trust me, I know kwazy when I see it. lol

 

IMHO I would say that since the scorpio is coming out in a year and a half that this is a waste of money. You're getting a moderate increase in performance with the X1S and a huge jump in performance with the scorpio. Personally I don't know how i'm going
to come up with the money for it but i'm bloody well going to try.

The X1S i'm not going to bother with since my halo edition xbox one is still working just fine.

 

I am still deciding whether I want to Pre order it or not. I may see if my Uncle wants to purchase my Xbox One for his kids then use that money towards the One S for myself. Win Win situation in my opinion.

 

I see zero reason to even buy an Xbox One S let alone Pre-order it. imo failed concept.

 

^^ HDR. That'll take off before 4k. It has its importance. I have a feeling it'll sell well.
