Have Xbox gold cannot play elder scrolls online

I have Xbox gold. However elder scrolls says that I need it in order to play.

Questions about Multiplayer

Say i have 2 Xbox ones and my gold account is on both if i give use home gold for someone else on console #1 while i play on console #2.

Can i play Elder Scrolls Online on console #2 while someone else uses my home gold to play Elder Scrolls Online on console #1

Elder Scroll Online Gold Pack

Hi , I have Elder Scroll Online and Elder Scroll Online Gold Pack installed on my Primary Xbox One and it work fine for me .. but the Gold Pack won't work for my son's account. Is it normal because i know if my son play on my primary Xbox One console he
must be able to use all my games including games add ons. Any help plz ?

To double check whether your subscriptions are still active, check here- http://support.xbox.com/en-US/billing/xbox-subscriptions/check-xbox-live-bill

If you still have gold, try restarting your console by pressing the xbox button, press settings, press restart.

If that doesn't work, remove your account, restart the console and add back your account.

Be sure to install any updates to your Xbox and game if necessary.

The Elder Scrolls Online is a multiplayer game which will require Xbox Gold.

Elsweyr is a exspansion on the base game, which means you will need to have base game to be able to play it.

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. The Elder Scrolls Online does need Xbox live gold. This game is purely online multiplayer, there is no single player content.

Hope this helps! You can never go wrong with Skyrim while we wait for Elder scrolls 6!

Apologies, I misread what game you were playing. When I read Morrowind, I was thinking the Xbox back compat title. You are playing the Elder Scrolls online. You do need Xbox Live Gold to play it as it is an online game.
