Have xbox gold but have no access to multiplayer content.

Whenever I try and play any multiplayer it says that I don't have xbox gold. I've confirmed that I do and tried router resets. I've tested my network connection and it says that I'm connected. Any suggestions?

Difference of Xbox Live Gold Membership and Xbox Live

A gold subscription allows you to play online multiplayer and access Games with Gold and Deals with Gold offers. If you don't pay with gold you have a Free (or Silver) account. You can still sign into Live to purchase content and access apps, but you can't
play online or access gold discounts.

if this is the gamertag your using on your console, it has to have a GOLD membership Subscription to Access Multiplayer content and features

 

Have you tried contacting xbox live support maybe ur code didnt activate. You check it on your xbox 1 by gong to settings ahd going to subcriptions. It will tell you what used such as microsoft points or credit card if nothing is listed call xbox live. thumbs

I have xbox gold. I have had xbox gold. I tried repurchasing xbox gold and it won't let me because I already have and can't buy it again while I currently have it. The problem is not that I do not have xbox gold. The problem is that I have it and I cannot
access multiplayer functions.

 

There are 2 things you can try.

1. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down. Then unplug everything from the console and let it sit for 5 minutes.

2. Delete your profile from the console, do step 1 and then redownload the profile.

Hopefully either one of those will work. If they do not then you'll need to contact phone support for more assistance.
