Have Trouble Downloading Destiny

Just about a week ago, I bought the downloadable version of Destiny for the Xbox 360. And I've consistently been having problems downloading it to my console. The game is 6.75 GB and I have 20 GB of free space, so it can't be a hard drive problem. And
just a day ago, I rented and downloaded the movie "The Interview", which was 5.75 GB, about the same size as Destiny. The Interview took about an hour to download, but my Xbox 360 did disconnect from Xbox Live numerous times during the download. The furthest
Destiny has downloaded was 60%, and I was playing the Vanquish campaign, so it could download in the background. I've purchased the solid copy of Destiny when it was released, but I sold it because I got bored of it. Is there any reason why my game can't
download? In case you need to know, I'm using a wireless connection to Internet, but I'm only 10 feet away from my router, and I have an Xbox 360 Elite (the gray one, not the slim). Thank you for any help.

Game not downloading/installing

Hi,

I have ben having troubles downloading/installing an update for Destiny. I have tried restarting my console and restating the game but every time it will get to about 20% then I will get an error code. Is this because of the issues that show up on the live
status? Any suggestions on how to fix this problem thanks.

 

What type of wireless connection?

3g or are you talking about just WiFi?

If it is a 3g connection then you need a more consistent connection like DSL or fibre or cable

 

Is your gamertag set for the same region (country) that you physically live in?

 

My gamertag is set in the US and I live in the US. I am using WiFi to download my game, and it shows full bars on the test connection.

 

Thanks. Here's a couple of things you can try.

1. Power cycle your modem/router by unplugging them for 10 seconds.

2. Connect via ethernet cable for the duration of the download

3. Borrow a copy of the game and install it from the disc then just redownload. It will only move the license over.
