    I have recently got a new router, an Asus RT-N66U. Now, whenever I turn on my xbox it is not connected to xbox live and in order to get it to connect I have to test the connection. Once it's connected and I turn the xbox off the same things happen next
    time its switched on. I connect to my router with the wireless xbox adapter. I have tried manually setting all the network settings but this did not work. Any ideas please?

    What kind of internet connection does your friend have? Is he on a broadband connection? Perhaps he can run a speed test on his connection and send it into Activision to show them that it is a connection issue and therefore not his fault?

    Experiencing lag when playing?

    What's your internet connection speed? Are other devices connected to the internet aside from Xbox? I guess the problem lies with the internet connection. Do a test at speedtest.net. In case the speed is okay try to see if the other devices are eating up your internet speed by turning them off and focus on Xbox One.

    I've tested the internet connection and it seems to be fine. The Xbox shows that it is connected and I ran the Xbox internet speed test and it seemed to be fine. I can connect to the Microsoft Store and download games/apps. None of my other devices
    have any issues with connecting and using the Internet.

    I have the same issue. The support pages say that if internet tests okay then live will connect. Well, the internet and multiplayer connections test okay but no xbox live. Dull.
