Have to restart my Xbox one for recently purchased games to play

Hi all, recently i’m having to restart my xbox one s to play recently purchased games. I install the game, doesn’t matter if it’s a preowned or a new one the game plays fine. But once i switch the console off and on, put the disc in, it wont load. I need
to switch the xbox off at the plug, then switch it back on, put the disc in and the game will play. I have tried performing a hard reset which didn’t make a difference.

Any help much appreciated.

Hi there, no pending updates, last update was a week ago. Haven’t performed factory reset yet. What i don’t understand is games installed a long time ago work fine.

Yes, that is really weird. But i see a factory reset as the most possible solution.

Did you check for available updates lately? If there are no updates pending, Did you try to factory reset your console ?

I also recently purchased Call of Duty on my Xbox 360 but the game doesn't download and restarts after reaching 80% again and again! I have been trying this since yesterday. Since I have paid money to play this and I am not being able to do the same, MICROSOFT
help asap!

Hi. I too am having this issue. I purchased my Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition as a digital download in April 2013. I have played the game recently in ONLINE mode while logged in to Live. I was able to download all my purchased texture and skin packs on
the One for FREE, but I am not receiving the option for the discounted upgrade price of $4.99 either on the One or via the Xbox Store via my PC for the One version. The game on the 360 was purchased through my Live account and not another.
