Have to reset xbox after every use otherwise literally everything 'takes too long to start'.

Keep having the 'Took too long to start' error on literally everything, even the help app. A factory reset while keeping my games and apps fixes the issue temporarily, but then after I turn the console off and come back it's reverted right back to being
unusable. Console is on power saving mode, hard reset it countless times, full power cycle performed 4 times to no effect, HDMI is straight to the TV, ventilation is adequate, can't think of my setup being an issue at all really. A reset is currently my only
temporary fix, but I've now had to go through the reset process so many times that I'm hoping for either another fix or just confirmation my console needs to replaced, cheers.

Everything takes too long to start

I am having a huge problem. Every game or app that I try to use says it is taking too long to start please try again and I get code (0x8027025a) every time. It's been two days since this has started happening. I can't even report the problem to insider program
because that app doesn't work either

Hello! Yes, I am, a 1TB. It's LED colour indicates it's working normally and games installed on it still launch after the restore, but it is rather old and full!

 

Hey Synesthetiic! The external may be having trouble launching games after the initial use. Can you try launching games without the external plugged in and let me know how it goes? Thanks!

Having the same issue even launching games off the internal drive. More prevalent if I have downloads running.
