    Have to reinsert flash drive at each power up.


    Using a usb flash drive with no issues but recently to use any of the content, I have to unplug and reinsert it each time the console is turned on. It used to automatically load. I read in one of the pinned posts on here "we are aware of it and are
    working to correct the issue". It's just annoying, does anyone know a fix?

    xbox 360 wont recognize my 8gig flash drive anymore???

    On mine I have to unplug the flash drive and reinsert after each power up. Annoying but it works, everything is there. I'm trying to find a fix for that as it used to load automatically.

    UPDATE FAILED: can't process the xbox live update whether from USB or via download

    Try this:

    Power off the 360s

    Remove the hard drive

    Reinsert the hard drive

    Power up & retry

    Remove the hard drive

    Reinsert the hard drive

    Power up & retry

    This can indicate a connection problem with one of the storage devices. Try with the power off, unplugging the hard drive, and reinserting to see if it clears it. You can also try removing the flash disk if you have one, and removing and reattaching all

    well I was looking up some things that might help hopefully you could take out the hard drive and then reinsert it to see if that helps then you can also copy the system update to the flash drive or usb
