    Have to reboot console to get audio from my Destiny game


    I have only been able to launch Destiny once with audio on my Xbox one console. Normally I have to unplug the power and once the console reboots I have audio and can play my game. Is this the Xbox console or is it the game. I think it is the console because
    once it reboots everything is fine. Perhaps the Cache is getting filled and the reboot purges it. If so then this is BS. It is not good to reboot hard drives via powerdown.

    Tomb Raider on Xbox 1 and game resume problem.

    Happened to me once. A cold reboot fixed it.

    After that one time I was careful to let the console sit at dashboard for about 10 seconds before resuming TR. Ever since then the audio hasn't had a problem. My theory is that the console is having trouble switching the audio from app/dashboard to 'game' too quickly.

    Losing audio

    Every time I play Destiny I lose audio. I have to turn off xbox and unplug it to restore audio. But this is a recurring problem. Before I play Destiny I have to unplug my xbox one to get audio back. Please fix.

    I have had the same issue along with many others but my fix is just hitting the home button and then going back to the game sometimes I have to do this a few times but it finally gets it after a while

    This happens when Destiny is put into standby/screen saver by the console because of lack of input.

    XxAngelEyez4uXx is right though, hit the Xbox button to go home and go back in game. If that fails, press the Xbox button to go home. Press the Menu button while Destiny is highlighted in the main tile (3 lines/old START button) and select QUIT. Then just
    select Destiny again to load up and audio should be back.

    Bungie is aware of the bug as it has been posted to their forums but no info on when it will/might bet a fix.

    Well the hard reboot did not hold.

    I have performed the reboot several times.

    It corrects the audio issue temporarily but then I lose audio in game dvr again.

    This problem is caused by a bug in Destiny.

    If it happens again just reboot the console.

    I really wish MS or Bungie would fix this.

    Do you have the preview dashboard update?

    Apparently it's a bug caused by the update.

    I have copy and pasted this info from the preview forums.

    Destiny Known Issues :

    1.No Audio when returning from connected Standby. When entering connected standby with Destiny running, game audio may not be present when resuming from connected standby. 1.Workaround 1: Return to the dashboard and re-open the game; game audio should now
    play as normal.

    2.Workaround 2: Quit and re-launch the game.

    2.Distorted audio when playing Destiny. When playing Destiny, the game audio is distorted and/or I hear a high-pitched sound. This occurs when the “Chat Mixer” setting is set to anything other than “Do nothing.” This happens whether you have a Kinect attached
    or not. 1.You can work around this issue by turning “Chat Mixer” to “Do Nothing”. The default setting is “Reduce the volume of other sounds by 50%."

    2.Follow these steps to set Chat Mixer to “Do nothing”:1.Press the Home button to return to the Home Screen.

    2.Press the menu button (≡) and select Settings.

    3.Select the Display and sounds tile.

    4.Scroll over to the VOLUME column and select Chat mixer

    5.Highlight Do Nothing and make sure that option is selected.

    6.Once that option is selected, you can re-launch Destiny.
