I'm not sure if this is normal operation; however, when I insert a game disk into the console's drive, it gets pulled in but nothing happens. I then have to press the eject button (I hear a few clunks and clicks) and then the console reads the disk. This
seems a bit weird to me.

Can someone confirm for me if their console will read the disk as soon as the console sucks it in?

Hello

I have a xbox one fat. Since the update last year, i have problem with my disk driver.

When i change disk or change a app for a disk , the driver dont execute. To execute i need press the button eject to Driver back to work

I want a help to solution this problem

This is usually caused by your drive not reading it, simple soulutions would to put he disk in, turn the console off, then turn console on by pressing the eject button, then close it, turn it off, then turn it on with the powe button.

A blinking green light usually means the console is trying to tell the disk drive to eject. Are you sure it isn't a problem with the console and not just the disk drive itself?

Are you booting the console by pressing the eject button at all? I feel your pain on the E74 error... A friend of mine recently experienced that on his 1st gen 360 and it was out of warranty.

The Eject button is on the front of the original Xbox One console right next to the disk drive, while the Bind button is on the left side, directly adjacent to the disk drive, with a symbol that looks like “)))” on it.

try to turn console on with the controller middle button while tapping the eject button, just worked for me with no disk in

Hello, did you try to restart your console by pressing the console ignition button and disk ejection button 10 seconds simultaneously?
