    Ok so I got a Xbox one s and sometimes when I’m in the xbox dashboard out of nowhere, I have to press the A button on my controller multiple times to actually do and action. For example, I’d have to press the A button many times to access my messages, go home, go on a game, and etc. it’s not my controller because I tested it on games, the controller testing app and even the default controller testing app in the settings. Everything was fine. It’s really annoying when this happens out of the blue and just make everything harder. I had to soft reset my xbox (reset keeping ganes and apps) and I also restarted my xbox. Like hard reset. So right now I’m just doing this because I’m tired of all these annoying things that happen and I don’t wanna deal with this no more.

    Please answer the following questions to assist you properly or tell you how to proceed :

    Just to confirm, this bug only happens when you're on the dashboard. Right?
    If that's the case, is your controller firmware up to date? And is this happening even when you was using a previous firmware version?
    Is your Xbox part from the Xbox Update preview program? (beta OS)

    And, no matter the controller used. The issue persists in your dashboard, right?

    Just double check that you are logged in on your account with in the game, and with in the 360 dashboard, you can reach the 360 dashboard by pressing the menu and view buttons on your Xbox One controller at the same time.
    This. After opening the Xbox 360 guide by pressing the start-/menu-button and select-/back-button on your controller at the same time you are able to change your profile/sign in so that the issue should be solved.
