    Have to power cycle my receiver or I get a black screen on start-up most times


    When booting my XBox One up either by controller, power button on the Xbox or just saying Xbox on, 50% of the time the picture on my TV doesn't show, sound works just fine though.

    To fix this problem I have to turn my receiver off and back on again, just that and it passes the image back over to the TV. That's the only fix I've been able to find.

    TV - Samsung UN55F6300, Cable Box is Xfinity X1 Pace PX001ANC, Receiver is Yamaha - RXV375

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    HELP : My xbox menu's are gone

    HELP : My menu's are gone, Screen is black but it does get a bit lighter when in press the home button and I do have the green start up screen. But when I insert a game and is auto-starts it does appear. I tried reseting it, Power cycle and safe mode but
    nothing helped.

    Does anyone know a solution ?

    Why doesn't anything work?

    What do you see when you start to play Titanfall? Black screen? Error message?

    If you see a black screen try this -
    support.xbox.com/.../power-cycle-console

    Then try Titanfall again

    Mine does the very same thing and I'm with direct TV and Exede, mine also downloads games that have already been downloaded and, off ten it takes a long time for these downloads because, it queues my games on its own. Xbox one is complicated. I mainly still
    play the 360 at less I get to play the games I put in then and not after downloads..

    I think my Xbox needs to be reset to fix it. My first download took a long time like all night because I did it with my phones connection and, it would lose connection and then find it. I really think know that I have a home computer if I set it to factory
    and start over my problems would be fixed but, I hate to lose all my games and game progress and all our profiles. I'd have to start all over that would suck... how was your first download? You know the long download when you first plunged in your Xbox.

    Xbox One stuck on black screen after boot up

    The same thing happened to me this morning. Xbox worked last night and started downloading Forza free demo. Turned it on this morning and got the White XBox logo but start up did not continue after that. Turned it off and back on and now all we get is a
    black screen. I have tried unplugging it and plugging it back in and I still get black screen. Tried to power-cycle (hold down power button for 10s) and I still get black screen. Tried different HDMI inputs and that did not work. First day of Christmas vacation
    for my son and no Xbox. Please help.

    Factory Reset Every 3-4 Days

    I try to power cycle it as my first step every time this happens, still boots to green screen and then goes black.

    my xbox one has a code 80070490 screen that refuses to close

    Well the power cycle doesn't work and I can't get to a login screen. After the green start up screen, I get a black screen, then I press the xbox home button and I get to the error screen. Here is where I still get stuck on the error screen not wanting to
    close.

    Next issue will be that I don't have a windows pc to download to a usb. Yeah, always a pot hole right where you already have a bump in the road.
