Have to have disk to play?

I thought the game gets installed and you won't need the disk afterwards? Here is the error..

Have to reboot to recognize disks

my brand new Xbox one sometimes doesn't recognize the game disks and the only way to resolve this is to reboot the system. Please advise.

 

Have to press disk drive eject button to read disks...

I'm not sure if this is normal operation; however, when I insert a game disk into the console's drive, it gets pulled in but nothing happens. I then have to press the eject button (I hear a few clunks and clicks) and then the console reads the disk. This
seems a bit weird to me.

Can someone confirm for me if their console will read the disk as soon as the console sucks it in?

 

If you install a game from disc, you still need the disc in the drive in order to play the game. It's so it can verify you actually own the game.
