    Have to constantly do a factory reset...


    Seemingly anytime I have to update, or any time I spend too much time away from my Xbone I can't get my discs to read on it or it doesn't seem to "recognize" if there's an update that needs to be done. I've had this issue all the way back when Dragon Age:
    Inquisition came out. I'm so tired of dealing with this useless hunk of garbage... The only thing that ever seems to work is doing a full factory reset on this POS and that's a very temporary solution...

    How can I sell my xbox one account safely?

    So all I have to do is factory reset it and I'm safe if I sell it?

    I haven't, how do i powercycle it? I've done a factory reset and constantly unplugged everything, then left it and plugged it all back in but no luck Have to constantly do a factory reset... :(

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    If you need to constantly reset your console it’s not normal. The last resort will be reset and remove everything. If that still result with the same issue, the console needs to be checked/repaired.

    Yes, you should be able to re-download any games that you have purchased after doing a factory reset on your Xbox. When you sign in to your Xbox account after the reset, you should see all of your purchased games available for download in the "Ready to install" section of the "My games and apps" menu.

    Sorry to hear it. If your ISP is constantly changing your IP address then you'll need to contact them for more help or to provide a static IP for your console. Otherwise, try a power cycle by holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds till
    it shuts down or a factory reset on the console. If you choose to do a factory reset there is an option to keep installed games and apps so you won't need to redownload them.
