Have they fixed the issue with headset Echo

Thought id ask you guys I pick my new headset up Friday now it's going to be either the Xbox stereo headset or Tritton Kama headset still undecided on that one..Now am reading around that there was an issue with party chat you would get a lot of
echo in your mic and also others would hear it.have they managed to fix this does anyone know

XB1 Stereo Headset Adapter Echo

Recently purchased an xb1 stereo headset adapter, and I am having issues with my friends hearing an echo when they are speaking over chat. I have tried to adjust the volume settings, and turned down my TV volume to make sure they were not hearing the echo
on my end with no change in the echo. I can hear everyone just fine, but when using the adapter everyone hears their own echo.

I have updated my controller, firmware 2.3.2385.0 and the adapter is up to date 4.8.0.0.

Also have tried the hard reboot as well with no change in the issue.

I am using a Sentey Thor X headset and have no echo issues when plugging directly into the controller. I'd like to get the adapter to work and not have an echo for my party because the ease of having volume and mute on the adapter is why i purchased the
product.

Are there chat/volume output settings I need to adjust to get the right balance and remove the echo?

Xbox One Stereo headset echos

Whenever I use my Xbox One stereo headset in a party the people in the party hear an echo. How do I fix my headset so they don't hear an echo?

 

I just use the standard headset that came with the X1, tbh the echo is pretty random. I get it now and then but it isn't a constant problem.

 

I got a set of Tritons a year or so ago, they had tremendous echo and a hum to them, ended up returning them for a set of PX21'S. I, also, was after a new set of headphones last week. I asked a few peeps on our Facebook forum and was told the Xbox headset
was really good, also the XO Four Stealth were great. I spent the extra few squids on the latter. They are brilliant, very impressed.

 

I have the Xbox stereo headset. As long as I turn my TV down I dont seem to have issues with echo. The one time I did it was fixed by just unplugging from the jack and start over.

 

Guess ill go with the Xbox stereo headset and hope for the best seems to be a lot of people on here rate them.

 

i never had an echo. i use the XO 7s

 

The only time I get echo is with others using Kinect with their volume up.
