Please check storage space because insufficient storage can cause save errors. Go to Settings > System > Storage on your Xbox One. Make sure that there’s enough free space for the game to save progress.

If incase your storage is full, delete unused files or games to free up space.

And then perform a full power cycle on the Xbox by pressing and holding the Xbox power button until the console powers off completely. Unplug the power cord and wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in and restart the console.

Once restarted, try saving your progress again.

Next is to check Xbox Live connectivity.If your save data is synced to the cloud, an Xbox Live connectivity issue might prevent saving. To do this, go to Settings > Network Settings > Test Network Connection to ensure your Xbox is online.

If it shows a network issue, reconnect and allow the game to sync with the cloud.

Then check for backward compatibility issues because Skate 2 is an Xbox 360 game being played on an Xbox One, compatibility quirks may occasionally arise. Please ensure that your console software is up-to-date by going to Settings > System > Updates and apply any pending updates.

skate 3 does have cloud save enabled. its been on xbox one for years now. when it first came to xbox one i uploaded my save to the cloud storage. i just cant seem to do it again. also to my knowledge cloud saving has been on 360 before the xbox one even came out. i cant even move cloud enabled saves to my cloud storage, thats my problem. i can only take saves out of my cloud storage on my 360. there's even youtube vidoes of people uploading skaters in 2022 and beyond.

Nice, I just got flashbacks of skating around the Hangar on THPS2

The Skate. games are definitely the best skateboarding games I could recommend. But the controls will take a bit of getting used too, if your not into realistic skating games though you might not like it.

You can pick up Skate 3 for about 20 bucks these days though.

But like others have said they are releasing a Tony Hawks Pro Skater Anniversary xbla game here soon though.
