Have paid for gold but shocking service

I have took out Xbox gold after the free months trail, you's gladly took the money out of my account but then your server's won't let me play online saying I don't have a gold account. Shocking service provided

Not resolved here either. Master of fact my whole account is messed up. I have 2 different gold I have paid for that are overlapped. So pretty much I have paid double for the Xbox gold service. . That's pretty nice of them to charge me twice for a service
that is not working

I've had to renew again just to get live gold working. I DO NOT WANT TO PAY £10.99 A MONTH for some games. Please cancel the Ultimate and let us have Live Gold (which I have already paid for) This is shocking that cancelling Ultimate would then cancel
Live Gold. Shame on you

I've gold and have no intention of getting rid of it or letting it lapse...however I think using internet should NOT require gold. Nor should the paid services like NETFLIX, Hulu, etc.

Free apps, ok, I get that...those are 'perks'. But paid services should not be stuck behind the 'gold curtain'.

What's your opinion?
