    Have not received verification code to reset my password


    I have not yet recieved the verification code to reset the password for my account.

    STOP ASKING FOR MORE SECURITY INFORMATION!!!!

    No it doesnt allow anyone who has access to that info the ability to reset a password

    a security verification doesnt reset your password It only asks if you made the following changes

    or if you are making a change you have to verify the code sent to the email or phone number

    so if you are using a fake email you need to provide rhe verification code

    authentication codes are standard amoung servers

    leanr what they are

    the only way to reset a password is a enter the password and if you attempt to change a pasword you still need tbe original password and the verificaton code provided from your proof info usually a sms msg

    you cannot reset a password with just a proof

    you need to have access to the original email and the secret question and secret answer

    Or the original password at least which should not be 123456789

    If not, select Reset Password below, type the username of the account you are trying to reset, and select Next.
