Have Not Received Gears 1,2,3 Codes After Purchasing GoW4 Ultimate Console

This is my first xbox purchase. Seeing posts from others about how they have been waiting for months for their GoW codes is a little disconcerting. I understand these things take time, but shouldn't take months to fulfill.

I also read that you must have a active xbox gold live account to receive the codes. This is BS. The game does not state this, and its not listed as a pre-requisite. The bundle states it includes codes for the earlier games and that they are delivered
through the notifications center... not that you have to be a xbox live subscriber. Some of us don't play online, or cannot play frequently enough to make a live subscription a good value. But again, the promotion stated you will get the codes for the earlier
games once you had installed GoW4 and played it prior to 12/31/2016. All of which I have done.

I am enjoying the console, but the luster of my near $500 toy will wear off if Microsoft doesn't make good on its promise. Nor will this experience encourage me to spend more money with you or recommend your products to others.

Gears of war 1,2,3 and judgement codes

As part of purchasing and playing GOW UE I was supposed to receive older how games and gow4 beta code.

I have not received Gears of war 1,2,3 and judgement codes yet,

I received beta code for gow4 previous week

After purchasing and downloading Gears of War ultimate edition xbox one on October 29th, I have not received the codes for Gears of War 1,2,3 and Judgement yet. I was told by Mike with Microsoft Support to post here.

And secondly it is not possible to wait for months

It only has started been giving out in October and the timeline has been statrd a month people just don't read the clear instructions

The requirements are must be over 18 and no your account age can't be changed after it has been created

It also has to be gold

And played and purchased before Dec 31st

People also claim that the waves msg wasn't there I can tell you since gears of war ultimate that MSG was always there people just don't read the description

Unless you are talking about the gears of war 1 ultimate edition which is aa completely different promotion

Except for the timeline the gold requirement was always there I would know because I watched the promo since dec 2015 when it was launched

It doesn't take months to fulfill the only one that they are behind on is the gears 1 promotion which is why they should be posting earlier for those issues

At max it's is a month and less in some cases however you have to remember sometimes they don't meet all the requirements like gold or over 18 etc

or they missed the msg or their turn in the waves is missed however so far it would only be slightly more then 30 days which case support asks you to post to get the codes sentprivatel only when the codes are over 1month because they would only send you
the generated codes you would've received if your turn hasn't turned up in the waves because it's not the full month yet then your have to waity

Thanks for the reply. I've now re-read the description on the website, and the documentation that came with the console.

I see that the promotion only started when the game was officially released (October). That does seem to be what people are missing. I just purchased a xbox gold live subscription. I now meet all of the criteria to receive the promotional codes for Gears
1, 2, 3.

-GoW4 Installed and played prior to 12/31/16

-Have gold membership.

I'm coming up on a month of ownership in the next few days. Lets see if I get my codes.

You must be 18+ yrs or older (Microsoft acct)

You must install and play the game prior to 12/31/2016

You MUST have an xbox gold live subscription

Takes about 2-4 weeks to be fulfilled. Mine took 17 days. I suspect I would have got them sooner had I activated my Live subscription sooner. I had met all of the requirements, except I didn't have a gold live subscription. As soon as I activated this
subscription, I got the codes within hours. Everything is now installed.

If you haven't received your codes, you might have missed one or more of the requirements.

Note Codes will be sent out in waves, so it may take a few days for you to receive your code once the campaign begins. Codes will be sent out starting on
September 28, 2016, for the Fan Appreciation Gift promotion, and on October 3, 2016, for the Gears of War Collection promotion. Once you receive your code, you’ll need to redeem it and download the game. You can then immediately start playing.

If you didn't receive a code, it may be for one of the following reasons:

• You didn’t make a purchase or pre-order for Gears of War 4 on Xbox One or Windows 10.
• For the Fan Appreciation Gift promotion, you didn't play a previous version of Gears of War, you don’t have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription, or you haven’t signed in to your account in the last 12 months.
• You live in a region where Gears of War 4 isn't available, or your account is based in a region where the game is unavailable.
• You're not signed in with the account that was used to purchase Gears of War 4 during the campaign dates mentioned above.

I didn't think I needed or would have time to use a gold live subscription.. but I'm happy I have it now. The free games are AWESOME and so are the other discounts.

 

Just to follow up.. all good here now. I received my codes after activating my xbox gold live acct. To anyone who is waiting... read all the details of the promotion and ensure you have met ALL the requirements... I received my codes within hours once
I had met all of the requirements. Buying the game doesn't mean you qualify. Read the fine print.

Received my codes... took 17days. I probably would have got them sooner had I done more research and taken the steps to meet all of the requirements for the promotion.

The fan Appreciation promotion started Sept 28th

The Gears Of War 4 promotion started Oct.3rd

There is a difference between the pre-sale and promotional versions of the game

Have to meet age requirements

Have to install and play by 12/31/2016

Must have gold live subscription

Once I met the requirements I got my codes in a few hours. You don't see this information on the box or on the cards that come with your console. This makes you think that if you install and play the game, you'll get your codes.. but there is more. For
me, it was the Live subscription. I didn't think I would have the time to use it. Its great! So are the free games and discounts. All installed now. Thank You Microsoft!

 

I have the same problem, I've had the game for 4 weeks now and have xbox live but no codes? Help a brother out

 

Sounds like you meet the criteria. age requirements, install and play by date (12/31) , gold membership. My mistake was no gold membership. Activated and boom... got the codes within hours. They will come. I'd start your own thread. Good luck
