Have I been under a rock or does Microsoft no longer include xbox live headset with new ...

Recently bought the 2TB xbox s a few weeks back and couldn't find a headset in it. It's not a huge deal because I had one already but would it have hurt to toss one in? I mean even the Xbox 360 Slim and Xbox One Day One editions came with headsets when they
launched.

This week's news - the XBox One will not include a chat headset for XBox Live. Microsoft explains that the new Kinect can be used instead of a headset. However, it was later revealed that there is possibly an accessory that will allow you to use your 360
headset, and headsets from other brands as well.

Are you still on the fence about which console to buy? Does this headset issue influence your decision? Do you think Microsoft is making another mistake?

Personally, I'm looking forward to the XBox One, and even if it doesn't include the headset, I will purchase one.

If that influences people then they have serious issues , stuff the headset buy new ones , the adapter is coming not the end of the world

 

no they don't come with one, as all new controllers support virtually any 3.5mm headset with mic including phone headphones with mic.
