Have gamers became a bunch of whiners & complainers nowadays

When PS4 and XB1 come out. PS4 had over rated game lineup compaired to XB1. But since then. More big developer titles come PS4. Made up in pair with XB1. Tech wise. PS4 had upper hand in 2013. But in late 2015 it be even with each other with the help WIN10.
But this base what transpiered this year.

 

I think I have a right to complain if pay $60.00 for a game and it's a broken unplayable mess. The same way I would complain if I payed for a fancy dinner and my meat wasn't properly cooked. I'm not saying it has to be perfect but there has to be some standards
in place. Devs are getting pretty lazy these days releasing games that are no where near finished to cash in on gamers.

 

^ You're absolutely right LOL, you DO have the right to complain and not accept mediocrity. I don't know about you guys, but $65 is a lot of money and while gaming is a luxury that doesn't not mean we cannot complain when we didn't get our moneys worth.

 

^^ That's not the problem. People have always complained if they got a bad game. And who pays $65 even for a new game?

Gamers cry about everything whether someone likes something different or they don't like your favourite game or they don't like let's play videos etc etc. It's just younger kids mostly though. Social media has turned people into a bunch of pansies.

 

I heard about the Jimmy Kimmel thing - personally I don't think it's stupid at all; I watch game videos all of the time to get a better idea of what games I think might be good or bad to buy and/or play. Having it on YouTube, as well as Twitch, simply gives
us more avenues for how to do it and prevents a monopoly on this particular aspect of gaming.

I think it's obvious that I'm a big fan of Xbox, but I don't let that get in the way of other consoles - I simply prefer Xbox. I don't waste my time trying to belittle the competition. I just sing the virtues of my preferred console, and let everyone else
decide from there.

 

I dont listen to all the whining.

People usually whine before a game release then after it and then they stop at some point.

They go to the next game to do the same.

I just listen to them when they take a break from raging.

 

Everything is always blown out of proportion on the internet if somebody feels strongly about something. Writing down thoughts without thinking about What was said first.

Yes it can be annoying but some good can come out of it. Xbox wouldn't be where it is today without it.

 

I see virtually no difference between now & when these kinds of disputes really started, the 16 bit era. I was 12 years old when that really started to kick into full gear. Gamers were just as passionate & about the SNES & Sega Genesis as people are now
with the PlayStation brand & Xbox brand. If you were in the camp of Sonic the Hedgehog, you were always trash talking Mario games. Hell, even the commercials attacked the other brand lol! The big difference is those school cafeteria trash talk shifted to the
internet when it started to become more mainstream & accessible.
