Have game for wrong console. Any help?

Not sure how else to contact someone from xbox. Did google searches but they all told me to go through the support onthe website but when I

clicked on it, nothing happened. Gave up after 2 weeks of trying so posting here.

Anyways, A couple weeks ago I went on my 360 and did a search under the 360 games and found a decent deal on the game Titanfall so I bought it. The search I went through was NOT for the xbox one, I had double and triple checked as I was also making sure
it was the actual game and not some DLC for a game I dont have. Got all excited and waited a few days before I tried to download it as its been a busy month. When I went to, it showed up as for the xbox one and not for the 360. I went and looked and it had
it for both, so it wasnt like it was a game only for the xbox one, so somehow I must have ended up purchasing for the wrong console....

Anyways, I am sad now. I REALLY want that game and seeing as my car just broke down last week, I wont be able to get an xbox one for some time. Can anyone help me out on whether I can switch that game over to the 360 I do have? This is the first issue Ive
had when purchasing a game through the system and Im really hoping that I will be able to get it on the 360 and not the xbox one. I dont want a refund, just the game on the console I do have. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Accidentally bought game for wrong console.

Hi. I accidentally bought Shadow of Mordor for the Xbox 360 while I'd meant to buy it for the Xbox One. I did this by buying the game on the Xbox store via my phone and not using the console. Is there any way I can get the game for the Xb1?

I agree, modifying doesn't necessarily mean to do wrong. But our's has not been modified in any way shape or form. Any game lobbies are the ones the game takes us too, game saves are as the game itself dictates. What we do with that console is only what
is intended and within the ToC's.

They have form for getting it wrong, and they have in this case, too.

 

You would have to contact support directly to see if there is anything else they can do. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or
support.xbox.com/contact-us Otherwise, there's no way to transfer it into a 360 game.
