    have been comms banned without adequate explanation


    have been comms banned for 24 hrs and cannot request a case review as the ban is not greater than 24 hrs. so the dilemma i face is that i have been banned and are unaware as to the exact nature of the ban. so will further bans ensue? have i offended someone
    whilst conversing in gamechat or have i offended someone listening to the conversation? have i been reported by a troll who baited me into a perceived inappropriate comment?

    Why was I banned??

    I have been banned for a day without any reason, I want explanations. You can not block an account without a valid reason. Someone answer me.

    so today i was comm banned for some strange reason. To which i have not broken any code from the t&Cs of xbox, i would like an explanation to why i was banned what evidence you collected, what game was i reported on and when .

    Unfortunately the only information about your suspension will be what's listed on the enforcement site. There's no way to find out specifics about why they issues a suspension.

    There is an issue with the notification system for suspensions telling everyone they are permanently suspended, when it's actually a shorter suspension. You can try contacting support and they can tell you how long your suspension actually is, but they won't have any further information about the suspension. There's currently an issue with the enforcement site not showing current suspensions which means it's not possible to submit a case review at the moment.

    You can find enforcement actions on your account by checking here: http://enforcement.xbox.com

    Log in with your Xbox/Microsoft account, and click the big orange hammer on the left. You can request a detailed explanation of your comm-ban if you are able to submit a case review.

    I don't know for sure, but maybe the XBLPET deleted the violating message after they issued your comm-ban. Usual scenarios for comm-bans include profanity over the mic and/or text messages to other players.

    Is there a possibility you might have been comms banned? As to pertain, being comms banned will disable all of which you have said to be having issues with. Lemme know the answer and I'll keep trying to work out solutions with you!!

    I am sorry you are having issues with the banning system on Xbox.

    You can find all your bans and their reasons here: [support.xbox.com/help/family-online-safety/enforcement/enforcement-history]. You can also appeal all non-permanent bans here also. It is up to the enforcement team whether they validate the appeal. Sometimes, it can take some time for this to appear. Although, there can be times where they just do not give a reason, you should still be able to appeal.
