    Have active XBox live gold account but caanot access Xbox Gold


    I have a subscription for XBox Gold which ends on 20th December but when I try to use Gold get told I have no active subscription, and in brackets the following, 0x803f800b, this is apparently not an error code anyone else had same problem? Gettng really
    fed up with chat line operators either blaming me or just saying "Don't know what's happening. we may have a problem our end". Anyone else had same problem? How did you get it sorted?

    Microsoft just ended the Family Plan for good

    Microsoft sent this announcement via e-mail to all Family Plan members. This is terrible for people who have more than one console. Also note (in bold) that this answers the questions about the Gold Live sharing on multiple consoles. So if you plan to throw out your 360's and game library and have you family glued to one Xbox One then you are good. Once you go that friends house your family cannot play in Live on either console unless you have an additional sub. Terrible.

    Xbox Live Confusion?

    Xbox Live is free.

    You can make a Gold account, or a Silver account.

    The Gold account gives you access to access to play online, along with free monthly games and weekly deals. This has a fee.

    The Silver account gives you access to Xbox Live and apps, but you just can't play online or get the free games. This is free.

    Please go to the following page to confirm you have an active GOLD subscription

    https://account.microsoft.com/services

    If you do please sign out and then sign back in with that account on your xbox.

    This should resolve the issue, if not check that you can start a Party Chat, if you cannot there is an issue, if you can, this confirms your GOLD is working.

    Make sure you use the same account.

    Do you have an active Xbox Live Gold membership or Game Pass Ultimate membership? A Gold account is required in order to access online features of Forza.
