    Hauppauge Tuner for XBox One X stopped working


    My hauppauge has just stopped working yesterday, but has worked like a champ up until then. So far I've tried all of the standard debugs:

    1. Cleared OneGuide, TV settings
    2. Powered down/unplugged Xbox
    3. Tried to re-setup Hauppauge/Xbox
    4. Tried different USB port
    Console is online and up to date. All the USB connections work. No loose connections. Antenna in good location.

    The only thing I've noticed, is that the Hauppauge turns on for 5-10 seconds when initially plugged in, and then turns off. When I attempt to set it up, after I enter my zip, it just spools and says no channels could be found in my area. Really odd, as
    it's been working consistently for years.

    Check if the tv is not defective or try to change the cable... if it doesn´t work, test another TV to make sure the problem isn´t with the xbox itself.
    Issue is with software. Have this issue on Xbox One X with Hauppauge tuner and two Xbox One S with their own Hauppauge tuners. All separate and complete setups. Not TV or cable related since they all stopped working the evening of May 5th.

    Edit: currently it's the only video media app we have that's not working. Plex, VLC, Prime video all still work.

    It worked fine before the NXOE AND it works perfectly fine on my PC.

    The Hauppauge tuner is compatible with the PC. If you plug it into your PC there is no stuttering.

    Since it worked perfectly before the NXOE and perfectly on the PC, it is NOT the Hauppauge tuner.

    They changed something with the NXOE. That is all. The tuner is NOT a POS.

    As I got no help from Hauppauge, Microsoft or any Forum, I gave up on the glitchy device and moved to a tuner that works incredibly well with no loss of function, I believe it is a fix. I'm currently watching a TV on station that the Hauppauge tuner would
    never play without stuttering. The Tivo is cheaper, and has a much better tuner then most HDTV converter boxes. I now have all of my local stations, and the one guide and they all get great reception. My advice is to move on from the Hauppauge device. POS
