    HATE THE NEW XBOX BUTTON HOME!!!


    Hi all,

    I've been a very happy xbone owner since day 1. To the point I've also owned a ps4 since day one and hardly ever played it. However, this is by far the worst update so far. One big selling point was the TV integration and Microsoft have just gone further
    and further away from improving this functionality. It's never been perfect but I was relatively happy with it. Now, when I want to browse through menus (like with old page) I lose the to picture/sound. Why would they do this? I like to be able to explore
    whilst still watching tv...is this not what they promised us?

    Not one to get like this but absolutely fuming with this update, and maybe others do but I see absolutely no benefits to it.

    Agreed. I have never been on the forum before, but came on to complain about the new home button. I hate it. Why fix it if it isn't broken? I design websites. Simple, one-step processes are what people want. Not overly complex ridiculous processes. First,
    click home button. Then, don't go home, but see weird menu. Then scroll to find home. Then click home. Then go home. Absolutely terrible. It's like the console design/programming team has never used a console in their lives. Simple, one-button solutions,
    people. It's not that hard.

    Xbox ONE controllers are poorly manufactured HATE THE NEW XBOX BUTTON HOME!!! :(

    I'm not a fan of the Xbox one controllers. I hate the new style LB and RB buttons! : (

    xbox controller home button issue wont resolve

    OK strange new development/observation

    it appears if i plug the controller into the xbox via usb, than still the home button doesn't work, HOWEVER if i remove the batteries making the controller dependent on the xbox for power then the HOME BUTTON WORKS IMMEDIATELY! while plugged into the xbox
    with a working home button if i put the batteries back into the controller, without hitting anything, the home button stops working again.

    and remember the controller will turn the xbox on via home button even while not connected by USB...

    what in the world is up with this controller?!

    What's is your ONE issue with your ONE console that you wish could Microsoft fix / improve ?

    Finding my way round the new dashboard. Already I hate the way that your last played app or game automatically plays on the centre tile on the home screen. Especially if it was something with sound. Plays over everything on the dash. and how can you turn
    the thing off from the controller or the home screen? Seems to be no option apart from speaking to it (don't get me started in that - my daughter was playing in the corner and XB1 didn't pick anything I was saying) or getting up and pushing the button on the
    console. BRING BACK THE XBOX BUTTON MINI MENU!
