    Yep,if you want to change your gamertag then you will have to pay like everyone else.

    The only times you get a free name change is if you change it from a generated tag to a personal one when you start your account or if your gamertag violates the code of conduct.If tat was to happen you would be given a random gamertag for free.

    As said,block communications & file a complaint via your console against anyone sending you "hate" messages over live.

    You might want to go back to the website that told you that would work and post a note saying it won't work. that will save a lot of other people a lot of time.

    You aren't getting a free gamertag change, you can block anyone that sends you hate messages.

    or you can follow rhe moder forum you got this info from and ask them for the 10bucks

    sorry your name does not violate the rules so you have to pay the same 800 points we do. you won't get one for free just report them then block communications with them.

    Calling out gamertags is not allowed on the forums.

    The only way to report someone is via your console,it can't be done anywhere else.

    You should set up some parental settings as your son is so young.
