Hi,

Ive been getting so many hate messages on My account because of my gamertag and i dont have the money to change it please help

I still play Mw2 alot and the best thing to do is move Cods because people don't really like "TryHards" on the older games.

The only way you will receive a gamertag change is if it violates the Code of Conduct or Terms of Use, which
it does not. The best course of action you can take is to File a Complaint, Block
Communications with the Player, Mute the Player , and Submit a Player Review and Avoid the Player for each
player you feel is violating the Code of Conduct. Just make sure not to send them a message after you block them as it will unblock this player. You can also appear offline until things cool down or you can afford the gamertag change. The enforcement team
will eventually catch up to the player(s) and they will take the appropriate action against the individual(s). Hope this helps.

 

You might want to go back to the website that told you that would work and post a note saying it won't work. that will save a lot of other people a lot of time.

You aren't getting a free gamertag change, you can block anyone that sends you hate messages.

 

Yep,if you want to change your gamertag then you will have to pay like everyone else.

The only times you get a free name change is if you change it from a generated tag to a personal one when you start your account or if your gamertag violates the code of conduct.If tat was to happen you would be given a random gamertag for free.

As said,block communications & file a complaint via your console against anyone sending you "hate" messages over live.

 

Right my son off 7 is getting bullied on Xbox live witch is disgusting by these user names
[Mod removed]. I've heard a few things like there going to burn my house down and your mum and dad a pigs he has blocked them as I told him to but this can't be tolerated many thanks

 

Calling out gamertags is not allowed on the forums.

The only way to report someone is via your console,it can't be done anywhere else.

You should set up some parental settings as your son is so young.
