• You're paying $59.99 for a yearly sub with XBLive.
• The game has two price points (Standard) $59.99 and (Imperial) $99.99.
• Sub-fee of $14.99/month will fund patches/updates and future expansive content, as the money from the sub-fee's will pay the dev teams, and maintain the servers.
  
• Pre-ordering allows you to play any race in any faction.
• Pc vs Console, while Pc is the stronger of the three, it has it's limitations in regards to your Pc, and the opposite players Pc, making it an uneven playing field in some cases. Console on the other hand, everyone has the same hardware, keeping the field
  as even as possible, albeit what your ISP provides.
• Population sizes. Game sales via ; Pc vs XB1 vs PS4. Pc will have the most player base, and depending on the numbers of units sold between XB1 and PS4 and what the player base is ; XB gamers are mostly sport and fps' and PS gamers fall heavily into the
  rpg genre.
• In-game alliances. Speculations are that Aldmeri Dominion is where the older player base is going to fall in, as it's the counter part to WoW's "Horde" faction. Daggerfall Covenant falls into the elitist's, or elitist complex, where the believed player
  base who think they're tough cookies will take into that faction (personally I think that's a baseless opinion). Lastly, Ebonheart Pact is recognized as the noob/newb faction, where players new to the series, i.e - Oblivion and Skyrim (especially Skyrim) will
  fall into. It's also perceived that more youthful gamers, like children or teenagers will fall into this faction.

And with the NDA being lifted, and new information sprouting up constantly, and that many people atleast half a million got beta invites (myself included), has your opinion's changed since then? Do you think the game is worth the sub-fee tied in with your
Live fee if you plan on playing console? Standard vs Imperial, is it fair? Pre-order bonus, allowing you to choose whichever race in whichever faction, giving you the freedom to join a new faction with the race you wanted? Knowing the speculation of the player
base falling into said factions, i.e - Aldmeri Dom. = Older player base Daggerfall Cov. = Experience MMO'ers Ebonheart Pact = Younger player base.



Lemme know, I'm interested in what the possible player base is thinking.

L.A. Noire Developer Goes into Administration

All Im gonna say is if your "hits" are anything like your youtube ones (averaging in at around 20-300 views) and you think thats good, you really ARE deluding yourself. My one video on youtube, that was done with a shaky cam and really poor editing has more
views than all of your videos combined LOL (

That video has more "likes" than views, weird.

 

Gaming is a expensive hobby, a mmo even more but I am very thankful this game came out for xbox one ( or will be) so I don't mind having to pay all of that as long as the game is fun and mantained, plus I already use gold for other games and services. Me,
some of my friends and my bro and cousins are actually excited. I am sure with the fun we will have it will be worth it but we will have to wait and see.

 

My view hasn't changed much. I always thought this would be one of the best mmorpg to hit the selves in a long time. After playing the beta that view was only confirmed.

This is the only thing I am wondering about now. When I logged in tonight it was nice to see ESO had a spot on the dashboard though. Who knows maybe Microsoft might support mmo's/rpg's afterall. It's all going to come out in the wash soon.

 

I think we all agree that the PC base players will have the majority of room in the servers. Not real sure what that will do for the console players. There's got to be some separation between the two. Then again what is to happen with PS4 folks. Mega server
but 3 different platforms. I'm going with both myself, and will adjust characters according to whatever rules Zenimax comes up with. I'll have one PC and one X-Box. The Live doesn't bother me at all and I personally feel it's a non issue. You don't have to
have a live account to play. As far as X-Box goes, my Live account is for me and my friends. Always has been. I plan on getting standard editions of the game so there is another tidbit of savings. Beside, the $99.99 version is with statue and all, the normal
Imperial edition is only 79.99. Anyway the age group of players I think is going to job *** your mind when you find out who your playing with. As HunterHector said, Gaming is an expensive hobby. AND! I have to agree with xCHEMISTx. "After playing the beta
that view was only confirmed". I'm willing to do a little wager that when the X-Box One version is released we'll see Microsoft get on the bandwagon and support the game as much as they do any other game.

is a very small % of "Female" players signed up here. I registered and input my choices. Play with it and see what you think.

 

This is the only concern I have for the game still being a console gamer primarily but as you already pointed out Microsoft have excellent marketing and when they get behind something its usually successful. GTA V is a good example of this.

 

The only reason I am losing interest in the game is the $15.00 per month. No way would I pay for that while I am already paying around $30.00 a year for xbox live.

 

I've honestly never played a MMO before. So, that fact adding onto that it's Elder Scrolls has my interest piqued. I kind of want to wait to read/see some reviews first before I make the leap. I think what is holding me back just a little is the "double"
investment of my money.

 

I agree with all you folks about the monthly fee being the #1 reason I may not play it very long. I have my budget set up for X-Box One and TESO standard edition with a 3 month sub. So if after 4 months of playing, and I do get to play more than most, being
retired. I figure the least that will happen is I'll get some reprieve toward extra months "IF" I like it enough. @Eggnogga, I've had some hands on experience with a friend and I have to recommend the minimum first month just to get a feel for it. It's as
good a game as I've ever played for the money. Like Skyrim but with friends to help out. I had a blast with it.

 

I went to the tesocensus site and signed in so I'm one of the 12%. I notice there are some guys going to play as gals since the character percent it different. As for platform, that's not really a surprise since MMOs have mostly been a PC thing. There were
never many for the Mac either. I keep reading a lot of doom and gloom stuff about the Xbox One but I think it just needs to shake out a bit. No one knows how this will play on a console but I do know that I don't really like gaming on my computer so if the
console doesn't work, I'm going to be unhappy. As I mentioned elsewhere, I dropped two subscriptions which were for the same amount as ESO will be so as along as the world is fun to explore in I will be out there exploring.

 

I'm in the same boat Lady B. I have a gaming computer as well so go figure. I think the whole reason I am sceptical is because (as you pointed out) MMOs have usually been a PC thing.

This is what I will be doing before I buy a console version of the game. Console betas should open soon enough so that should give us a good idea of how it will work maybe.

 

The only MMO I have played was Defiance on the 360 and that had NO monthly subscription at all. Which is how it should be on a console since we pay for xbox live. I later got rid of Defiance because it was region locked and kept having way too many problems.
Gave up on it. The beta was terrible so I should have known the full game would have issues. Oh well, live and learn.

 

I believe the game will be good and there will be a good amount of players for xbox one from the research I have done so far, that's why I bought the imperial edition a few days ago. I am just happy we have such a good mmo based on elder scrolls for xbox
so can't wait to play with all of my friends and family and some of you who will be getting it here, thanks chemist and angelus for the add, I will see you guys in the game anybody else is free to add me if you will also be getting the game and are looking
