Has Xbox account information been leaked?

Hello, I was wandering through the internet and found a few articles starting to pop up that the hacking group known as "Anonymous" has hacked & leaked personal information (Including emails, passwords, & credit card information) from Xbox Live Services,
Playstation Network, & Amazon.com. My question is, should I be worried that my information was included in this leaked information? Has this been confirmed?

when dealing with billing issues its best to call customer support

 

Last I checked anonymous never leaked Xbox passwords

I remember that incident you are speaking of

The psn hacking incident and they sold the database and told their usera to try the login info on eBay xbox and nintendo and social media sites along with paypal in hopes they caught the users offguard

As long as you don't use the same password and email combinations on many sites you are fine

This is old news and if you had an affected account like a psn account you would've been told to change your passwords by Sony

 

No group has ever claimed to have those passwords

Only group that has claimed anything was the ddos attacks not attempted hacks lizard group

 

You can call support if you feel your account has been compromised and they will look at it

But if you are worried maybe you should change your passwords and email accounts

My passwords change every 6months and different passwords for every site

Couple things the file in question is deleted either by the hosted or anonymous

The group has actually disavowed the action saying it wasn't them

Its not their style nor lulsecs

They usually are not in it for the money just social justice

None of which applies as they haven't declared war on anyone lately

 

Actually that is your only option unauthorized access cases can only be started via the phone

Not sure if they updated the chat to accept it

But forums is not how you start such cases

Also they have teletype service fyi for the hearing impaired

FYI the news sites suggest you monitor your credit cards

 

I appreciate you trying to resolve this, though I think my questions are more suited to the Xbox Support Staff. Please refrain from commenting on this post further as your assisting methods are not what I am looking for.

Nothing official has been announced by Microsoft.At the moment it's just rumours but if you are worried then change any passwords linked to your account.

 

I know that nothing has been officially confirmed, which is why I decided to ask within this topic. It's not my email & password I am worried about, it's more my credit card information that is concerning me since I was the product of identity theft last
year. I'm sure this isn't anything to be worried about but I would like some sort of confirmation from the Xbox Support Staff. Thank you for trying to resolve this, Daft Badger.
