Has the Xbox One "Fan" issue calmed down?

I had around eight Xbox One's overall. I purchased them all around September - December and they all have annoying fan issues. I could easily hear the fan from 2-3 feet away and again, I had to sell it.

I've not been seeing many people post about this any more and wanted to ask whether people think the issue has been resolved?

Login problems still?

It had major issues on release. Mainly due to too many people trying to get in at once. A lot of it has calmed and the main issue is some people not being able to see NPCs. But most of it has calmed down sense. There's a patch coming out next week to possibly
fix most things. But it's playable.

Or that Playstation has no fans ...

 

My fan has developed a squeaking sound. Not loud enough to where you can't hear the game audio, but just enough to be slightly annoying. However, it seems like it has gotten a little better over the past few weeks.

 

It is quite normal to be able to hear the fan from 2-3 feet away.

That is actually quite close to the console.

No console this powerful can be silent.

I have 4 games consoles and not one is silent.

My 360 is noisy as hell.

My ps4 is noisy

My ps3 is noisy

and so is my xbox one.

My ps4 is a lot louder than my xbox one and I can easily hear them both from more than 3 foot away.

 

I've had my XBOX One since day one and my fan is very quiet. I do keep mine in an open space, not a cabinet, and just as I've done with all of my electronics, I use compressed air to blow dust and hair out of the unit's filters once a week or so. I know
my 360 got a little hum noise when I ran out of compressed air so I vacuumed it out and it stopped. Just some suggestions.
