Has the quality of the forums dropped?

My point was simply, why aren't they asking? Why not come for the feedback directly instead of going through Deacon?

Moderators get the 'hate' because the people with the real power don't seem to come around.

the quality of all forums drop when they're run by a bunch of communists that dont like seeing anything bad said about their preferred system and ban anybody that brings facts to the arguements. The only quality you'll see on these forums is bad when you
cant debate or discuss or prove that another system is better without being banned and having your thread deleted to keep the truth from the public's eyes. These forums are junk like the people running them....oh wait here comes another month ban...bye now.

^I wish that was the case. This is an Xbox community. It should be a place where you can come and discuss all things Xbox without fear of being trolled by fanboys of other platforms. Instead you have the same people trolling the same topics for years on
end with no repercussions. If you get banned, it's because you present yourself as a tool. Not because you bring up certain topics

wrong sword, I've been banned a few times on here just for bringing up the bad parts of Microsoft and proving these fanboys wrong on their opinions of X1 being a better quality system then the PS4...these whiners don't like the truth even if its sitting
right in front of their face....watchdogs ps4 -920p watchdogs X1 780p case closed, bring on the ban.

Wrong Ugo, you were not banned for bringing up anything. You were banned because of how you brought it up. If you simply stated the issues you had and how you felt they could be corrected like everyone else, you would never had an issue. Instead, you call
names, put people down, etc.. Of course you are going to be banned.

I've never seen a PET or support agent outside of the support forums. As far as Microsoft employees coming to general discussion or games discussion, to say that it's rare would imply that it happens once in a while.

@KLR, I was typing my post while you posted yours. I agree it should be taken to PM, if I cared enough to pursuit it.

To stay on topic, I have been part of this particular community since 2005 when I found out that my XBL account was on here & I could see friends & send messages. The forums were certainly active back then.

I recall the biggest thread I ever had going which was, name your 3 favorite things about the 360. The thread had over a thousand replies, I tracked what everyone said & it was 1) Games 2) Controller 3) Friends/XBL. Most of the thread was legit, but there
of course was "trolls" in there that didn't like the 360 & just wanted to derail it, but the sane gamers kept it going strong. If I tried to post that thread today, the way the community is now, it would get a few replies and then fade away.

So yeah, it has gone downhill, but I still blame it on the redesigns first, second being how much hate the XB1 original policies got which made many flat out leave.
