Has Microsoft been hacked?????????

Hey, there has been service alerts in the UK for the last few days which states that there in no purchases available and downloaded content is limited. Well this morning I find out from my bank that my account details have been at risk from someone I use
it with online...

I now have to get a new cash card etc.....surely it can't b a coinsidance....

I have contact customer support twice but that is not resolved.

Finally I use live chat with xbox customer service and she let me to post the problem here for help.

In the past few months I have seen a number of companies (retailers, financial organizations, etc.)come out and report that a leak of personal information took place months/years prior but it was only recently discovered. If your bank is saying your information
is 'at risk' all it means is the bank is taking precautions because the information was used at a company that had reported an issue at some point. The compromise could have been months ago.

Unless you have one card for each company you deal with, I would say it's a coincidence.

This statement worries me. The way I read it suggests that you share your gamertag with someone else. It could just be the way it's worded but you should seriously consider changing your gamertag's password as well.

 

Please make sure that you security proofs is up to date...
