    Has Halo Master Chief Collection Caused Issues to your XBOX ONE?


    I got the disc verison of HMCC. After downloading I dealt with the normal issues everyone else had ( matchmaking took half an hour to get game etc.) Well as of last night I tried to join a friends party and I ended up being stuck in the Joining player screen.
    After restarting my Xbox One I attempted to log back on the game, still same issue. I decided I would try a hard restart which was done several times once again with no results. I also have had no prior problems since downloading HMCC. So i decided to go one
    step further and unplug everything from wall which was also done several times with no results. I then would log on, the disc would read and I would go to the game menu. Once I would watch the startup screen for Halo i would get to the press start screen,
    where everytime i attempted to press start my game would acknowledge i pressed start and then after a minute of not doing anything it would throw me to the dashboard. I then noticed that all of my other games and apps were affected. I couldn't get into multiplayer
    on COD Advanced Warfare but could play a private game. I couldn't log into netflix. I was at my witts end. I decided only thing to do was factory reset my Xbox One which I did. The only thing i did after that was download netflix and I was able to use that,
    but still haven't attempted to download HMCC. has anyone experienced anything similar to this?

    Game not showing after download

    Hi, the version of odst you purchased, was it the xbox one version for Halo the Master chief collection or the Xbox 360 version of the game? If it was the Master Chief collection version, then you need the master chief Collection installed on your Xbox
    One to be able to download the game.

    I have had this as well, I'm reluctant to do a hard reset because it just takes so long. Trying to see if there is a solution out there.

    A hard reset will take about 40-50 seconds. Surely that's not too long?

    Having same problem with "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" on my Xbox One X.

    Solved it by completely deleting the group and remaking it. Still not sure what was causing the issue.

    Halo ODST for the Xbox One is an Add-On for the Master Chief Collection. you must own that in order to play it.

    When you fire up the Master Chief Collection, you should be able to start a campaign (under Halo 3) for ODST.
