    I'm from the EU region, Germany. The Xbox Support is not as good as it was some years before, so i try and ask my question here.

    Can you still use Microsoft Points Codes on your Xbox 360 or has something changed there?

    Currently, when i try to redeem a Points Code, i get an error saying that the code is not valid. I tried several different codes. And those codes are valid or at least have been until now.

    i have to add that the Xbox 360 does not recognize a Xbox Live Gold / Gamepass Ultimate subscription anymore. A subscription that works just fine on my Xbox One. (and i have tried everything i could find on google about that typical xbox live gold problem
    on the xbox 360)

    So what about all that. Is Microsoft closing down older Microsoft Points Codes, making them invalid or is the problem with redeeming Points Codes related to the Xbox360 not recognizing Xbox Live Gold status of the Live Account and Microsoft is abandoning
    the Xbox360 and Xbox Live Gold on Xbox360? My Xbox Live Account / Microsoft Account seems fine. I have no problems with my Xbox One.

    Anyone here can answer that?

    I Have the Same Problem! Points and Xbox Live Gold Cards on my Xbox360 don't work.

    The point system was discontinued in 2013. They allowed the points cards to be redeemed for some time after that, but had them expire a couple of years after that. So at this point, points cards will no longer work.

    Hi there,

    points systems are no longer in place, it is just gift cards, system has changed since xbox 360. Points are also obtained from Microsoft rewards but it's not the same as the 360 points
    i know microsoft points are a thing of the past, but existing codes could still be redeemed and converted to Euro values on your xbox 360. That is what my question is about. No idea if anyone but microsoft can answer this question.
