Has anyone's Xbox 360 Wireless receiver failed to be recognised?

nachoman104: Do you have any other wireless devices near your Xbox 360? And by nearby, I mean anywhere from one to three feet. I bought a set of Turtle Beach EarForce Delta's and the wireless receiver was right next to my Xbox 360 and PS 3. My PS 3 worked
fine since it was further away, however my 360 would either fail to connect, fail to find my router or fail to stay connected to Xbox Live. I moved the receiver another foot away from my Xbox and now everyone is playing nice on my wireless network. Hope

Thank you, I have a wireless Controller with a jack plug port, the headset is a genuine xbox one, I have plugged it in the controller but it fails to recognise it & the other headsets I have tried, my son has 2 xboxes & the headsets don't work on either
controller.

I'm trying to connect to a laptop not a console. I don't have access to my console right now and want to use this controller for mobile gaming but it has limited functionality so I believe the firmware may need updating but my computer recognises it as an Xbox 360 peripherial and not an xbox one controller. Initially it wouldn't recognise it at all, telling me there were no drivers available and the it suddenly recognised it as a 360 controller but ' microsoft accessories' still won't recognise it.
