Has anyone seen error code 0x80070003?

I'm on an ASUS Vivobook and I tried download State of Decay 2 from the app. At 100% the download stopped, and this error showed up. I checked the error code support page, and it wasn't on there, so I did the survey thing, and I went in here to find anything out. I've already updated the Xbox app and made sure my account was the same for the Microsoft store.

The rest of my games at snail speed if that's important

Alright so I can't even upload the screenshot, it says, "Something unexpected happened. Reporting this problem will help us understand it better. You can wait a bit and try again or restart your device. That may help. Error code: 0x80070003 Find help for this"

Sadly I'm on windows 11 and neither of these solutions seem to be possible. I checked the optional updates and that one doesnt exist for me and the other solution seems specific for windows 10. I also checked the source and it seemed not to work for that one either.

Hello Evan,

Nilay here and I'm glad to answer your query today.

Follow these steps:
Select the Start button in the lower left corner of the main screen and select Settings.
Select Update and Security > Check for Updates.
Select View optional updates, then select update KB5004476 from the list.
KB5004476
Select Download and Install.
When the update is complete, restart the device.
You should now be able to install, update and launch games.

Are you still in trouble?

Create a notepad file with the following name:
"RepairGamingServices.ps1"

inside the file paste this text (if quotes):
"
Get-AppxPackage *gamingservices* -allusers | remove-appxpackage -allusers

Remove-Item -Path "HKLM:\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServices" -recurse
Remove-Item -Path "HKLM:\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServicesNet" -recurse

Then, to run, right-click on the file, and run as administrator. then restart windows. then you need to open the Xbox app from Windows 10 that will be warning you that you need to install an extra component for the app, accept and wait for the installation. After that, Microsoft guarantees that you will be able to reopen and download Xbox Game Pass games on Windows 10.

If all the above solutions failed, then please try resetting the Microsoft store from the setting.

If the issue still persists after store reset then unfortunately you need to fo for reinstallation of window.

I have the same issue.

I now get an error stating:

Something went wrong

Give it another try. If this happens again, let us know by entering 0x80070003 at xbox.com/errorhelp so we can investigate.

When entered on the xbox.com/errorhelp site, the code returns this result: There are no results for "0x80070003".
