Has anyone noticed the smart delivery system is not installing the optimized for Series S...

When the Series X/S was sent out to testers pre-release, it was possible to install Xbox One versions of Smart Delivery Games....however, it seems it was made impossible for general release.

Found this from just after release:

Thank you for your reply. I have fully installed Mass Effect legendary edition the 21 GB version and it does not have the 120 frame rate it does not have the 4K graphics with 60 FPS. What it has is 1080 at 60 FPS or 4K at 30 which is what the base Xbox One version has. But none of the games that are optimized for the S and X that I have that use smart delivery have the snx enhanced features. And the optimize for S and X games that do not use Smart delivery are installing the correct version with the fully enhanced snx features. Deliver Us the moon just upgraded their game to an S and X version and it has Ray tracing and a higher frame rate option I installed that and the Ray tracing and and higher frame rate are no longer available on that game they are the base Xbox One version sir. And I've checked with every smart delivery optimized series As an X game that I have installed none of them have the advanced features that the snx have ,they are the base Xbox One version.

Well first you need to download the patch are you forgetting the smart delivery update ?

So you got the series s upgrade not the HD series x upgrade which is a good thing since you have hdd space limitation

I'm installing them on the internal memory and the Seagate SSD memory card only. For whatever reason the smart delivery system is acting like I'm on an Xbox One sometimes when I go to the store and look for say Mass Effect legendary edition it does say that is 93.8 GB for a few seconds and then it switches to 21 GB. Something at least for me is seriously wrong with the smart delivery system. And since they updated it there is no way to manually choose between the Xbox One and the series s and X version anymore it's automated and that is not working for me.. As I said every optimized snx game that does NOT use the smart delivery system installs properly and works perfectly fine they are the proper gigabyte size and they have all the enhanced features.

Basically to sum it all up smart delivery works by console not by hard drive if you install a smart delivery game to your series s or x on to the hard drive it will tell you to move it to the SSD. Where I live at a 1 TB SSD cost as much as the serious s by itself for how much I paid for the series s it cost more. I know the one terabyte memory card launched at 212 but it raised in price to 299 which is as much as a series s that's the issue it's price that's why I wish smart delivery well let me choose which version I want to install.
