has anyone looked at the update section in the system settings?

From the Guide go to System>Settings>System>Updates and downloads and check for an update and accept it.

If you can't download it, check your network connection is set to Online in the Network section of Settings.

wow really? Nobody has any comments at all regarding this issue? Nobody has run into this issue before? Bummer, i feel as though microsoft has no fix for this.

However, if I was able to manually update the system and do an entire system update I believe it would fix the issue. However no such option is available as it says "xbox is up to date" in the settings section where it says "updates"

Is your console enrolled in an Insiders preview ring? If so, which ring?

The "Updating" page of a system update has 3 sections, Downloading, Verifying and, after a restart of the console, the Applying section.

Which section is it stuck on?

Started a thread in the preview section and posted a link to this thread. To see if anyone else had/has same problem. Also the link I posted above basically said "Go into Settings, Preferences. Toggle the setting for "Allow Play To streaming" under System
& App." Not sure if doing that will help.

Update: I've just seen in settings that the last system update was 1:49pm today. The 'What's New' section doesn't list anything around USBs or peripherals, however.
