Has anyone heard anything about RBI Baseball 14?

For those who don't know, it was announced on January 14th I believe, coming to next gen systems as well as mobile. However, I haven't heard anything of it since, and the MLB season is now less than a month away. Even though this game most likely won't be
a full simulation, and definitely won't be as good as Sony's MLB The Show (really wish this game was also on Xbox) at least X1 will have an MLB game.

Lack of a quality baseball game

I am dumbfounded that xboxone hasn't gone into contract for a quakity baseball game. RBI 16 is of 1980s quality. PS4 has the Show. I had to buy the Show for my PS3, which I shouldn't have to do. I'm considering selling my XBOXONE and purchasing a PS4, as
I have no idea if XBOXONE will have a good basball game next year. Has anyone heard anything?

 

MLB Game for Xbox One in 2015?

So with the announcement of MLB the Show 15 for PS4 baseball fans who own the xbox one are wondering what to expect. Is this going to be a second straight dreadful year without a Major League Baseball game for xbox one? Yes there's RBI Baseball but that was awful. I've heard rumors that MLB 2K15 is making a come back, although it was awful on 360 I'd be open to a return for next-gen consoles since there is really no other option right now. Has anyone heard ANYTHING?

 

They have so little time to develop this I wouldn't be surprised if its the actual game from 1994 lol

@ That 1 Did they actually start making the game the day they announced it? Or is it possible that they were working on it before they made the announcement ..

 

This is just from my own experience, but from what I've seen, baseball games don't sell very well - at least not compared to other sports titles. It seems like I only hear about 1 good baseball game every 5 years or so...

 

Well MLB The Show is good EVERY year ... since like 09 .. and I'm sure if it was on Xbox and PS instead of just PS the sales numbers would look much more exciting. After all, baseball IS the 2nd most popular sport in Murica.

 

Yeah mlb the show and no 2k baseball game has kinda made me decide to grab a ps4 before may when the show comes out.

 

Couple things.....rbi baseball is being dev'ed by MLB..... that in itself worries me..... what do they know about making a video game???? but I guess we will see

Other thing....i just saw the ps4 version of the Show is not coming out until May! That is really late. PS4 exclusives are almost non existent at this point.

 

@That 1, It is coming out in May but I read an article about how MLB The Show 14 is the best looking game on PS4 right now. That says a lot, then again sports games are a lot more about gameplay then looks.

 

I saw some screenshots on this YouTube vid...I guess the faces look a lot better.....I need to see some video tho.

They were showing Boston players (yuk).....def improved faces, but still not great in my estimation. An odd look.... beards seem a little off..... they should just show those red sox players clean shaven. Lol.
