Has anyone else requested a refund on a certain game only ro have Xbox refund the wrong game?

I bought a game called police simulator and I purchased a 3 or 4 dollar dlc pack and then decided after about an hour of play time it didn't have as much content as I wanted for 40 bucks so I asked for a refund,it was denied for some reason so I contacted support for assistance...I got a person named Arbie who was super nice and helpful they said they could pull some strings and fix it for me ...that was about a week ago I just got on last night to play goat simulator 3 which I bought a week ago to play with a friend...turns out they refunded the dlc for police simulator and goat simulator 3 I still have the police game. How's the fastest way of getting the correct refund and then also the game I wanted that I paid for and liked

Hello OrangePeeL2520, If you filled out the refund request form and your request was not approved, unfortunately we here in the community cannot help you with this matter.

The refund department is a separate offline department which can only be contacted via the email sent to you.

Unfortunately not even Xbox support can help you in cases like this.

There is certain requirements for a game to be refunded.

It may be eligible for a refund if it has been purchased in the last 14 days.

Have not played more than 2 hours.

Certain games has Terms and Conditions aswell for refunds. Not all games will be refunded even if they meet the above mentioned requirements.

The amount of refund request you have had in the past year will also determine if you will be refunded or not.

You can request a refund for the game you incorrectly purchased. There are certain guidelines that have to be met for them to approve the refund.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. I'm afraid that games cannot be exchanged but only refunded. If you purchased the wrong game then request a refund here https://xbox.com/refund and then purchase the version that you would like.

Only done through Xbox Support Directly. Usually can get a full refund if purchased within a certain amount of days or game has not yet released. Can request a call to solve your issue.
